Former Alabama Football Player Recounts Positive Experience with Stem Cell Therapy

MOBILE, Alabama – A former Alabama football player recounts his experience after having undergone stem cell injection therapy to treat injuries incurred during games.

“I’ve been having two seasons of nagging pain in my knee,” said Rolando McClain, a former University of Alabama player currently with the Oakland Raiders.

McClain had heard about using stem cell therapy to treat injuries and asked his agent to obtain more information on the procedure. Shortly after, McClain was on his way to Gulf Shores for the treatment.

Radiologist Jason R. Williams performed liposuction on the linebacker and injected stem cells from McClain’s own fat cells into the areas where he was experiencing pain.

Williams began offering the procedure about three months ago. He would inject patients, including McClain and another former University of Alabama player, receiver Marquis Maze, with their own stem cells in order to repair damaged tissue.

Following liposuction, the stem cells are separated from the fat cells and then injected into the injured area using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The treatment meets FDA guidelines and is growing in popularity. Other professional athletes, including Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, have turned to the procedure to heal their injuries.

Many are calling the method a medical marvel, and McClain is definitely one of those people.  Shortly after the procedure, he reported feeling much better.

“It feels a lot better,” said McClain, who has resumed regular workouts. He is now able to train “with hardly any pain at all.”

If you would like more information on this or any other lipo procedure, turn to a leading plastic surgeon in Alabama today to discuss your options.

Alabama lipo doctors always have your best interest in mind so you can achieve the results you want quickly and safely.

Chinplant Procedures Rise in Popularity

Written by: Tanya Gonzalez

April 26th, 2012    Posted in Liposuction News

Although liposuction, breast augmentation and abdominoplasty have always been some of the most sought after plastic surgery treatments, an underdog is gaining popularity in the cosmetic world.

Chin augmentation, also known as “chinplants,” is the latest beauty craze to hit the market. Taking the world by storm, chinplant procedures reshape or change the size of the chin and according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), are the fastest growing trend among all major demographics.

The number of chin surgery procedures rose dramatically in the past few years. The procedure saw a 77 percent increase from 2010 to 2011 in the 40 – 54-year-old age group.

“The chin and jaw line are among the first areas to show signs of aging. People are considering chin augmentation as a way to restore their youthful look just like a facelift or eyelid surgery,” said ASPS President Malcolm Z. Roth, MD. “We also know that as more people see themselves on video chat technology, they may notice that their jaw line is not as sharp as they as they want it to be. Chin implants can make a dramatic difference.”

However, as novel as the idea of chin surgery is, it still doesn’t surpass the overall popularity of liposuction, which has achieved worldwide success. Liposuction is a procedure that removes unwanted fat through surgical, minimally invasive or completely non-invasive methods.

While reshaping one’s chin is something many wish to do, not everyone regards the shape of their chin as a priority when considering factors that affect self esteem. However, almost everyone wants to lose a few inches off their waist, thighs or buttocks.

If you have considered getting liposuction, turn to our site to find your ideal physician who will give you the body of your dreams quickly and safely.

Woman Obsessed with Plastic Surgery to Host Kids’ Makeover Parties

Sarah Burge just can’t seem to get enough of the plastic surgery world. In fact, she is so committed to getting as much cosmetic surgery as she can that she has been dubbed the “Human Barbie.”

That’s all fine and dandy for 51-year-old Burge, who has already spent over half a million dollars in liposuction, breast augmentation and other enhancements, but this Barbie is determined to pass down her love of plastic surgery onto her seven-year-old daughter Poppy.

Like most little girls, Poppy wants to be just like her mother. She can’t wait to get liposuction and breast enhancement and Burge is eager to please.

Burge made headlines last year when she gave Poppy a voucher for cosmetic surgery for her sixth birthday. Some might consider this a little over the top, but Burge insists she is not molding Poppy into a woman that is insecure over her appearance.

“Girls don’t want Snow White and Cinderella anymore,” said Burge.  “They want to be WAGs and famous like Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga…Looks are a big part of how our futures pan out…there shouldn’t be a stigma around wanting to look good,” even for young girls like her daughter.

It’s this sentiment that has driven Burge to host a series of makeover parties at Botox Clinic for Poppy and her friends. The parties will include spray tanning sessions  and hair extensions for girls from ages eight to 13.

While liposuction and other cosmetic procedures are great options for adults who actually have a hard time obtaining the physique they want through diet and exercise, shaping a young girl to believe that she needs cosmetic surgery can be damaging.

Nevertheless, Burge “couldn’t care less about critics” and maintains her stance that “children [should] take control of the way they look and be creative.”

Human Barbie to Host Makeover Parties for Children

The “Human Barbie,” also known as Sarah Burge, will be hosting a series of makeover parties for children at Botox Clinic for her seven-year-old daughter Poppy.

Burge, who received her nickname after spending thousands on cosmetic enhancement treatments like liposuction and breast enhancement, is not shy about expressing her love of plastic surgery. She has transferred that same enthusiasm over to young Poppy, who has proclaimed she wants to look just like her mother.

The 51-year-old has already made headlines for giving Poppy vouchers for liposuction and other surgeries, but has she gone too far this time?

The parties Burge intends to throw would include spray tan and hair extensions for her daughter and friends from ages eight to 13.

“Girls don’t want Snow White and Cinderella anymore,” said Burge.  ”They want to be WAGs and famous like Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga…Looks are a big part of how our futures pan out.”

Burge added that “there shouldn’t be a stigma around wanting to look good,” even for young girls like Poppy.

The mother of three has already spent $650,000 on liposuction and other treatments for herself and intends to pull out all stops for her daughter. The idea for the makeover parties stems from when Burge threw Poppy a similar event for her sixth birthday.

Although liposuction and other cosmetic surgeries can change the lives of adults, allowing children to have a warped idea of their own bodies and self worth is not something to be proud of. Nevertheless, Burge “couldn’t care less about critics.”

“At the end of the day are we promoting being ugly and not caring about ourselves in this country? Or are we encouraging children to take control of the way they look and be creative?” asked Burge.

ALPHARETTA, GA – Brazil is a country revered for its many jewels. Dance, food and music are just some of the many attractions that make this country so appealing. However, Brazil is also recognized for another treasure – its beautiful people.

It isn’t known as the Brazilian Butt-Lift for no reason. People from all over the world want to have a tight and toned buttocks but not everyone is blessed to be born with such an endowment.

This is exactly what Dr. Michael Carter was thinking when he decided to bring a touch of Brazil right to his cosmetic surgery clinic in Georgia.

Dr. Carter, of Atlanta Liposuction, specializes in many different plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancement procedures, including liposuction body contouring, and you guessed it, the Brazilian Butt-Lift.

While many plastic surgeons can achieve a stunning outcome, Dr. Carter is unique in the approach he takes with his patients to ensure his results go above and beyond all expectations.

“While we achieve dramatic results with tumescent liposuction and buttock augmentation in Atlanta for troubling areas, often perplexing weight issues remain as a result of two invisible enemies that plague men and women over 40,” explained Dr. Carter. “Those enemies are nutritional and hormonal deficiencies that decrease the body’s ability to perform optimally sabotaging weight loss efforts.”

By addressing hormone and nutritional deficiencies in his patients and performing hormone therapy replacement, Dr. Carter is able to enhance the benefits of liposuction and other plastic surgery procedures so patients can experience life-changing and life-long results.

If you have considered getting the Brazilian Butt-Lift, liposuction, abdominoplasty, or any other cosmetic procedure, turn to one of our featured and acclaimed cosmetic surgeons today and be on your way to obtaining the body of your dreams.

Report Shows Liposuction Increasing in Popularity

Written by: Tanya Gonzalez

April 19th, 2012    Posted in Liposuction News

According to the latest reports on plastic surgery, liposuction is one of the most popular and requested cosmetic surgery procedures.

Liposuction treatments rose six percent from the previous year and are only expected to keep rising.

Lipo is a form of plastic surgery that involves removing unwanted fat via surgical, minimally invasive or completely non-invasive methods. It is available around the world and has contributed to not only improved self-esteem, but improved health for patients.

With the help of liposuction, stubborn fat that is immune to diet and exercise can be eliminated. Patients report feeling much better about themselves both mentally and physically.

Recent health reports show that liposuction patients experience decreased blood pressure post-procedure as well as decreased cardiovascular disease.

Perhaps the main advantage of liposuction is that patients have so many options. They can choose between traditional surgical methods or more modern, non-invasive ones. Patients can also pick between general or local anesthesia, depending on what they are more comfortable with.

Regardless of the lipo procedure that is chosen, advancements in the field of plastic surgery have improved all methods, reducing scarring and bruising to a minimum – or not at all if a non-invasive method is chosen – and also lowering recovery time.  Many patients can be back at work in just a few days and no one will be able to tell they had work done.

If you have considered getting liposuction, browse our site to find an elite and experienced plastic surgeon near you. Our cosmetic surgeons value your health and always make your safety their number one priority. With the help of one of our featured doctors, you will have the body of your dreams in no time.

Mom Confesses to Having Done Liposuction Seven Times

Written by: Tanya Gonzalez

April 18th, 2012    Posted in Liposuction News

To the naked eye, Joanne Allen seems like a regular mom who happened to be blessed with a good metabolism. The 42-year-old eats whatever she wants and doesn’t appear to gain any weight.

However, Allen has a little secret that she is about to share with the whole world. She keeps slim and toned not by working out or dieting, but with liposuction.

Allen admits to having done seven rounds of liposuction, in addition to other cosmetic procedures. In total, she has spent £17,800 to look and feel her best.

“I’ve had over ten litres of fat sucked out of me since my first liposuction in 1999. I’d rather die than go on a diet,” admitted Allen. “I love food, so giving up my favourite chocolate, cakes and steak sandwiches would be torture.”

Adamant about not working out, Allen is a huge fan of liposuction and plastic surgery.

“Having annual liposuction means I can eat more than 3,000 calories a day without worrying and have the evidence sucked away,” she coyly remarked.

And boy, does Allen eat. Her calorie intake is roughly 50 percent over the recommended 2,000 per day for women.

Allen’s first liposuction surgery came after the birth of her son Jordan, now 12, in September 1999.  Unfortunately, she lost the weight, but she didn’t lose her appetite for junk food and continued eating the way she previously had. Eventually, the pounds came back, spiraling years of cosmetic surgery.

Although liposuction is an amazing and fast way to lose unwanted fat, it is in no way a substitution for healthy dieting and regular exercise. If you have considered getting lipo, turn to one of our elite cosmetic surgeons to discuss which treatment is best for your body type and aesthetic goals.
